About the Opportunity Fund Program
The Opportunity Fund was founded by Steve Wilson in Fall 2023 with a cohort of 21 women and has since grown to include 63 students learning the fundamentals of investment analysis and actively managing money. The program serves to increase awareness of investment management as an industry and better prepare UConn students for a career in the wide world of finance. This is a very special program, immersive in its approach to providing an experience like nothing else in the School of Business.
We titled this The Bridge because this program is designed to serve as the bridge between Storrs and Wall Street, between the campus and the real world, between being a student today and a career in finance in the not-too-distant future. We are so excited about the experiences we are having in the program and want to share it with everyone.
